The church of Agios Nikolaos, in the old Elatochori settlement, is a historical monument of the post-Byzantine era. Built in 1779, it is characterised by special architectural elements, important frescoes, religious paintings of inestimable value, as well as a unique wooden iconostasis, which wood carvers from Metsovo allegedly took 27 years to create.
