In the mountainous Pieria region, where western Olympus meets Titaros and the Pierian Mountains, you can find the village of Agios Dimitrios at an altitude of 820m, overlooking the northwestern side of Mount Olympus. It is worth walking in the village roads and hiking in the surrounding forests.
