Ориентиром города является Муниципальный парк, одно из крупнейших городских зеленых насаждений в Греции, площадью около 51 000 кв.м, с 1252 деревьями 39 видов. Он расположен в самом центре города и является лучшим выбором для прогулок и отдыха, так как здесь богатая флора и фауна, фонтаны, памятники, детские площадки, кафе и закусочные. Здесь каждый год проходят фестивали, выставки и художественные мероприятия. Есть также открытый театр Катерин.
The reference point of the city is the Municipal Park, one of the largest urban green spaces in Greece, with an area of approximately 51,000 sq.m., with 1,252 trees of 39 species. It is located in the heart of the city and is the first choice for walking and leisure as it has rich flora and fauna, fountains, monuments, playgrounds, cafes – snack bars. It hosts festivals, exhibitions and art events all year round. The Open Theater of Katerini is also located there.
